Alli Orton, LMFT
I’m Alli Orton, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing since 2014. I offer peer consultation to other therapists and counselors in the field, as well as practicing independently as a therapist in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.
Even the most experienced therapists and therapists who have a solid support group of other providers can benefit from another fresh, outside therapeutic perspective. Peer-to-peer consultation offers a space to reflect, gain clarity, and explore new angles when feeling stuck or navigating complex client dynamics. Having a trusted colleague to talk things through can make a big difference, and I’m glad to offer that same support to others. These sessions are designed to be collaborative and grounded in clinical insight because doing this work well doesn’t mean doing it alone.
As a provider, I am honored to have the privilege of witnessing the incredible strength and resilience that my clients possess and I am dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space where they can explore their unique experiences, heal, and empower themselves to navigate life's challenges. My background and approach are rooted in empathy, understanding, and a client-centered approach while also honoring the role the family plays in my client's lives.
When working with my clients, I recognize the diverse roles they fulfill in day to day life and the pressures they often experience. By utilizing evidence-based therapies and a client-centered approach, I strive to support my clients in their journey towards self-discovery, personal growth, and holistic well-being. Collaboratively, we will develop coping strategies, enhance communication skills, and promote personal growth and empowerment on your journey towards becoming victorious in day to day living.
I believe it is essential to prioritize the well-being and safety of individuals in acute distress. For this reason, I do not accept high acuity or crisis clients due to the need for immediate and specialized care that I feel surpass the scope of my practice and availability as a Telehealth therapist.
